Fisher-Price Pixter COOL WHEELS Car Creations Software Review
This Pixter software cartridge fits in the expansion slot of the Pixter creativity systems. The black and white Cool Wheels software has a mode for freeform drawing, or you can use the scene starter mode to get backgrounds which you can then put digital stamps or shapes on, as well as drawing freeform. You can also create imaginary hot rods by mixing and matching features from different car bodies to form the ultimate driving machine. In another mode, you can build your car and your racing track, pick your opponent and then 'race' your car. Actually, we were disappointed that there was no actual racing to be done on our part, the software races it for you; it's not a game of skill. But then again, it's designed for four-year-olds, so maybe that was too much to expect.
